Keep Frozen. Freeze in a four star food freezer or a three star frozen food compartment, which should be -18°C or colder. In a 2 star frozen food compartment use within one month. In a 1 star frozen food compartment use within one week. In an ice making compartment use within 3 days. Do not refreeze after defrosting but keep cool and use within 24 hours.

Prepare & Use

Cook from frozen. For best results - boil.
To boil: place petits pois in a saucepan of boiling water. Bring back to the boil and simmer for 3 minutes.
Microwave oven: Place 225g (8oz) petits pois and 30ml (2tbsp) water in a microwaveable container and cover with a lid or suitable film, pierced in several places. For ovens carrying the Microwave oven symbol, cook on full power for 5 minutes for heating category B, 4 minutes for heating category D. For other microwave ovens, cook on full power for 4 1/2 minutes for 650W power rating. Allow to stand for 1 minute. Check that the petits pois are piping hot throughout. If not, re-cover and heat for a further brief period.

these peas are awful

We used to buy these peas every week but they are hard, yellow an inedible (and flipping expensive!) I thought it might be a bad bag but 4 more bags have all been bad too.

These peas are now awful - avoid

Like others on this page these peas used to be a favourite but are now truly awful - hard , floury not what you expect at a premium price- it is birds eye for us too now

Used to be great

These peas used to be lovely but they are awful now - shame! I gave up buying after trying several bags in case it was a 'one off' bad batch but they were all bad.

revolting!

I agree with the other reviewers. These peas used to be delicious, as good as any of the other top brands and organic too, but now they are dry, tough, floury... WIll go back to Birds Eye until the reviews improve again.
