Prepare & Use
Preparation: Wash hands, all surfaces and utensils after touching raw poultry.
Oven Cook
Electric (200ºC): 45 mins per kg
Fan (180ºC): 45 mins per kg
Gas (gas mark 6): 45 minutes per kg
+ 20 mins
Preheat oven. Remove all packaging. Place in a roasting dish, brush with oil and place in oven thoroughly cooked, the juices run clear and there is no pink meat. If the breast browns too quickly, cover with foil. Stand for 10 minutes before carving

Excellent value
Not only is it great value but it's never going off when I get round to defrosting. I can't say the same for fresh chickens which usually stink after a few days in the fridge.

Not so great!
I decided to go for this one after reading all the reviews. Unfortunately, this product was just not so great and had a lot of fat and gristle on it. I ordered this 3 times now and the family have asked me to go back to the usual waitrose essential whole chicken...

A fine standby.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who sometimes thinks "Oh it's Sunday tomorrow" like it's arrival and the expected Sunday lunch is a surprise?! I hope not! Anyhow this beauty has got me out of a couple of jams and saved me a few pennies. Nice and moist, surprising amount of meat for its size. It's a win win.

Brought 2 of these as they were on offer, enough meat to feed 5 easily. The chicken tasted lovely.
