Garofalo has been making pasta for over 300 years in Gragnano near Naples in Italy, the home of pasta. Made from 100% robust desert durum wheat and shaped using a bronze die gives Garofalo pasta its premium taste and texture.
Orzo are made in the shape of a grain of rice. The word orzo is Italian for "barley," and a reference to the size and shape of the pasta. They are very versatile, and can be used in a range of recipes. The classic use is in soups and casseroles, but they are also excellent in salads or as pilaf.

Orzo pasta makes a lovely oven bake

Wasn't familiar with orzo pasta until recently. Makes a really nice oven tomato/olive/mozzarella oven bake.

Good filler.

I love this in a beef casserole, I turn the slow cooker off add 2 cups and leave for 15 minutes its delicious.

Great quality pasta

Followed Ocado's recipe for courgette orzo risotto and it worked a treat. Very tasty, summery supper.

Try Orzo, you will love it!!

Really good orzo, delicious with grilled asparagus, fresh prawns, feta cheese and lemon zest with a hint of chilli! Yum, yes please, more please!!! Makes a brilliant pasta salad as well!
