Prepare & Use
Heating Instructions:
Hob:
Empty the contents into a saucepan. Heat over a low heat for 3-4 minutes until hot throughout. Do not allow to boil.
Microwave:
Empty the contents into a microwave dish, cover and vent. Heat on full power for 2.5 minutes (750W), stir and re-cover. Heat for a further 1 minute. Stir thoroughly before serving

Has the recipe changed?
I have often bought this product and love the flavour. I eat it hot on its own or use to add to my own curry. However the last 3 cans I have opened have been missing the Lentils. When stirred it used to be a nice thick Dahl consistency now it is just curried watery chickpeas. So disappointed.

Need to mix well before heating
This product is very tasty and great as a quick evening meal with some bread or poppadums. However, make sure you empty the whole tin out and mix well before heating, even if you only want half a tin, as the mixture separates into wet and dry somewhat. Tend to come out of tin as a lump followed by some water. Once mixed and heated, consistency improves considerably - and becomes a lot more appetising. Has nice flavours, but isn't spicy hot, so good for everyone.

Very good indeed
I've just had this for lunch along with a chapati. Half a tin is very filling and nutritious and the spices are lovely and authentically asian. If I had to comment on one downside it's that the consistency could have been a little wetter for my taste.

yummy
Firstly ignore look when it comes out of the can it separates in transit, Secondly heat gently until piping hot. Then very tasty!

Recipe has definitely changed
I usually go through about four of these a week, and the last batch is much drier - ones with BB 2015-11 are good, BB 2015-12 are less so. Ingredients and nutrition info are identical, though they don't identify water% in either case. Official manufacturer's site doesn't even acknowledge they make this!
