Yeah, like nectar but....
Gewurtz is supposed to be spicy. That's the origin of the term. But this stuff is just super-sweet. Not the best that I have tasted.

NOT THE BEST
I LOVE GEWURTZTRAMINER ESPECIALLY FROM ALSACE.UNFORTUNATELY THIS IS NOT A PARTICULARLY GOOD ONE .IT LACKS DEPTH AND IS A BIT TOO ACIDIC FOR MY LIKING.I GUESS ITS ONE OF THOSE YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR ARGUMENTS. I WAS HOPING THAT WAITROSE HAD UNCOVERED A RARE CHEAP DIAMOND ALAS NOT..

Nose is ok - lychee and melon. Palate is overripe, with simple fruit flavours. Not a good example of the grape.
