Delicious....
This is really very good sugar - perfect for baking. I pour mine into a kilner jar after opening, and pop in half a vanilla pod. The result is great in sponges, custards, crumbles, in your coffee, endless uses.

Great for meringues and sponge cakes
This sugar makes fantastic meringues and superb sponge cakes. The packaging does it's job, but it's probably best to decant into a jar once it's been opened, as it's difficult to pour accurately once it's been opened.

Spinach and Goat's Cheese Calzone
Calzone is an Italian turnover made from pizza dough and stuffed with cheese, ham or vegetables. It's a bit like an Italian version of our pasties. Calzone is usually served with marinara sauce on the side so you can dunk the calzone into the sauce. It is usually deep fried but we are baking this version to make it healthier. Children can help make up the dough if you're making it by hand and fill the calzone.

delicious
Why use white caster sugar when you can use the golden version? It adds a depth of flavour to all recipes--i never use the white stuff any more.
