With its subtle hints of oak from cask ageing you can enjoy this smooth and fruity wine on its own or as the perfect match to succulent roast meats and rich pasta sauces.

great party wine

I've bought this loads of times and have always found it to be bright, fruity, juicy and easy to drink. It's my staple party wine and nobody has ever had anything but good comments about it!

Perhaps inconsistent?

I agree with the first review, this lacked structure and failed to impress. I wonder if some bottles are less well conserved.

Lovely all rounder

I bought this on the strength of the other review, and my goodness, do my other half and I agree. I was having a party and bought six bottles a fortnight ahead, and now see we've drunk them all bar one before having said bash. A very pleasant wine indeed, not too heady or heavy, nor too light and insipid. Highly recommended - but don't say you haven't been warned it's almost TOO drinkable!
