AWFULL

The original was ok as it was dairy and soya free, except for the clay like sludge at the bottom of the carton, but now the 'new improved' item is awfull, it has a strong smell of vanilla. Why would anyone want their tea smelling and tasting of vanilla !.

YUCK!

This has to be the most minging dairy milk substitute EVER! It sounds so healthy, I had high hopes, but no, i'd rather have water on my cereal if that was the only option! The smell alone is a turn-off, and I can't pinpoint was exactly it smells of, just highly unpleasant! ..the taste is as bad, just nasty. AND it gave me a really sore mouth. Ghastly stuff it shouldn't be allowed for human consumption!!

Mixed reactions

I enjoyed this milk although a different taste but my boys hated it and much prefer their Rice and Oatly milk. Used it up in a rice pudding with added coconut and this disguised the taste. It is a pity they don't make a small trial taster pack as it is so different but the price isn't too bad if you turn out not to be too keen. Worth a try

Fishy!

"Hemp milk? That sounds disgusting!" seems to be the automatic reaction of everyone. Sorry, but it sounded so awful I had to try it, because surely if there was no trick to it, it wouldn't exist. There is not trick to it. It tastes like hemp seeds. For those of you who lacked the requisite hippy parents to have eaten hemp seeds, it tastes like fish. Fish milk. All of the flavor of fish sans mercury poisoning and animal cruelty! Not recommended. Except to people who love fish or vegans who really really desperately need to get some omega goodness at any cost.

Very nice nutty flavour!

Don't forget to give it a good shake everytime before you pour it, all goodness sits at the bottom over time. Excellent if you know few things about nutrition, you'll appreciate it and love it. Top quality!
