Use other less sugary products.
I'm only giving this 1 star because I can't give it none. This was a quick fix for me, and not what I'd usually use, but I was caught short of fresh ingredients I'd normally use for a Thai red curry. Like so many of the gourmet purees it contains far too much sugar, the paste is actually sweet to the taste. Horrible.
