a great every day red
perfect as it has a screw top , so you can just have a glass at dinner and a lovely fruity heavy taste to unwind after a hard day , with a cold winter meal of a stew or a bake .

Lovely. Though wait til it's on offer.
A nice, consistent malbec. Though I'd wait until it is on offer. Though the free anniversary one I got was even better!! I know what people mean about the tannin headache, but I find this generally with Argentinian reds but you just have to down a pint or two of water before bed and Viola!... no headache in the morning.

Heavy on the head
I like the taste of this wine. It is very full bodied, however, it always gives me a thumping headache, unlike other slightly more expensive wines.

Great Example
Malbec is one of the great, unsung, grape varieties with the potential of massive flavour depths and gorgeous complexity that encompass chocolate, black cherries, dried fruit, blueberry and a hint of fruit cake spice. This wine is no exception and is excellent served with a rich, stew of beef or venison. Goes brilliantly with rich chocolate torte, cake or gateaux. The best cheese partner would be a Munster or a really ripe Brie served on walnut bread with red grapes on the side.
