De Paoli Dairy, near Vicenza, has produced authentic Italian butters since 1950. Gran Bonta is produced from the "milk of the mountains" in the North. The word Bonta means "goodness", which comes from the natural diet of the roaming cattle in the alpine mountains and contributes a crisp, natural taste.

Wonderful
This butter tastes like butter should, buttery and creamy, a real treat. Perfect for pasta dishes, for a quick authentic italian meal. Eccellente!

My first choice
Lovely fresh-tasting butter. So glad that it is available as last year it was out of stock for ages. Rather pricey, but in my opinion well worth the extra for such a high quality authentic "real food" product.

OUTSTANDING
Tastes just great and a lovely little rustic block too. A real treat with the seasonal monks beard! miles better than I've had in a good restaurant and very authentic. As the italians know, its all about the best ingredients coming together... and a good cook maybe, that said, this is the most simple dish to do in minutes that tastes divine! especially with fresh wood smoked salmon! mmm mmm
