Yummy

Wonderful variation on agave syrup. Will buy again as we tend to avoid traditional sugar in our cooking and this is a great healthy substitute.

Foul - everyone refused to eat it

Having grown up in Canada I'm a bit of a maple syrup snob but I'd heard great things about agave maple syrup substitutes so wanted to try this as it's cheaper and lower GI than the real thing. It must be considerably healthier as nobody could bear to consume much of it, the revolting chemicaly maple flavouring added to the agave made it unpalatable. Husband and all four kids refused to eat it. They even sussed it out when I tried to sneak it into other things like porridge in order to use it up. Bought almost a year ago and the bottle is still sitting in the cupboard. A top tip to lower maple syrup GI is to use ordinary light unflavoured agave syrup mixed with real maple syrup, especially a no.2 grade which has a stronger flavour. The agave just seems to absorb the maple syrup's flavour without adding anything to it and only dilutes it a little. I drizzle the agave on first then the maple. Everyone's been fooled by it so far.

We love it on porridge

We really enjoy this on our porridge, but it often seems to be out of stock. Ocado please keep stocking this.

If you want real maple taste, buy maple syrup

Seems to be different opinions so suggest you buy this maybe when on sale? to try it for yourself. For me, I wouldn't use this a maple syrup substitute not maple-y enough and will stick to regular agave syrup for other purposes.
