You may notice the Berry Burst Shampoo doesn’t lather as much as some other products. Don’t worry, it doesn’t mean it’s not doing its job. It’s simply because we don’t use SLS or SLES in our products (commonly used foaming agents) as they can dry out the skin. We prefer to use a plant based alternative to keep our products nice and gentle. With less lather in the shampoo additional rinsing is recommended. This will ensure no shampoo is left in the hair. Only a small amount is required and a conditioner for longer hair is recommended..

Disappointing product
I read the reviews, but bought this product anyhow as I'm used to SLS free shampoos and wanted to like this non big name brand. Unfortunately, it was a nightmare to use on my 6 yr old's long hair. Even adding more water it was hard to get an even distribution and it left her hair so dry and tangled. A real shame. I wouldn't buy it again.

Excellent shampoo for children
I have two children aged 6 and 9 and have been using this product for the past 5-6 years. Both my children have very thick, curly hair and both have little or no patience for conditioner and shampoo - therefore luckily this shampoo performs excellently as both. When used there is very little foam - always a good sign as this indicates the chemicals added to most shampoos for an artificial lather are not present. I have found it's easily rinsed out in our hard water area. The smell is lovely and I will continue to buy this for my children as none of us have any complaints.

Terrible product
This is an awful product - It stings eyes more than regular shampoo despite claiming no to and it doesn't detangle hair at all - In fact the gloopy gooness of it makes it WORSE - go for a conditioner instead imo I'd have given it minus stars if you could. We had to drive home from swimming with it in hair as we couldn't rinse it out as it stings so much!!

Tangletastic
This product seems to do the opposite of what it says on the tin. Our childrens hair has never been more tangled after using this to wash their hair. The only upside is that it smells quite nice. Not recommended.
