ok

Tasted fine, but a bit oily with too many 'bits' in it. May be authentic but not the kind you get in a restaurant.

We loved this!

We both thought this pilau rice was gorgeous! It turned out just right, but with the spices and nuts provided in the kit it was extra special. As neither of us have huge appetites, we found the amount to be more than ample for the two of us in fact, there's another portion now in the freezer. We will definitely have this again - and soon. Together with one of the Masala kits, this was a magnificent meal.

Impressed my friends!

Used this rice for a dinner party along with a Rogan Josh kit last week, and we were all extremely impressed. Loved the fact that everything was included - so simple!

Not really worth the effort

Yes it goes make nice rice, but for me not really worth the fiddle - some of the supermarket ready-made pilau rice is almost as good. For me the best in the market by a country mile is the Mumtaz pilau rice which is just like you get it in authentic Indian restaurants - perhaps Ocado will start stocking it?
