I love my pigs! I've farmed them since 1986 here at Eastbrook in Wiltshire, where I keep 200 rare breed Saddleback sows. We work with five or six other English organic pig farmers, and they share my philosophy – give livestock freedom, in almost every sense, and they deliver great tasting food.
My philosophy starts with giving livestock the freedom to express their natural instincts and finishes with excellent tasting products. You might also want to try our organic bacon. And do come to visit our beautiful pigs in Wiltshire, with a stopover at our pub, The Royal Oak.

So easy, kids love them!

I like these because they're fast, easy and a perfect quick fix for school day dinners. Unlike lots of other convenience foods they're also organic and have 96% pork meat so I don't feel guilty for giving them to my boys.

Great sausages... until now

I have bought these sausages many times for my toddler and have been very pleased, however I recently cut into one sausage and found a piece of what I think is bone measuring approx 10mm x 2mm. Had I not seen the piece of bone and fed the sausage to my toddler the consequence could have been awful. Reading other reviews many of us obviously buy these sausages to give to our children, given my experience however I wont sadly be buying these sausages again, its frightening to think that a piece of bone of that size has made its way into the final product which I was about to feed to my son.

Best sausages ever

Nearly like a German sausage - and ready so quickly as well! We love sausages, and these are by far the best you can get on Ocado.

bland and my son won't eat them

Sadly my little boy wouldn't eat these and when I tried one I could see why - they are very bland with a almost processed flavour and texture. They do cook quickly though.

Tasty but contain a hideous amount of fat

Although there is no denying these taste great, they contain the most amount of fat in any sausage I have ever seen. For that reason I will never eat these again or give them to my child. I always check the sat fat level on a product, where it doesn't give the sat fat level, only the fat - well, that is a very bad sign, it means there is no saturated fat at all, just pure fat. These contain about 23g of fat, for comparison a lamb chop contains about 8g.
