Lapsang Souchong is a subtly perfumed black tea. Because the leaves are traditionally smoked over pinewood fires it has a distinctive smoky taste which imparts a lovely flavour to the responsibly farmed Scottish salmon.

Store unopened in refrigerator below 5ºC until required: for best results remove from packaging and allow to 'breathe' for half an hour before consumption. Any remaining salmon should be well wrapped and returned to refrigerator. Use within 2 days of opening.

The texture was fine but it smelt a d tasted like an ashtray. Unpleasant.

LOVED IT!
I liked it so much I'm buying it at full price. I thought the fish was delicate, tasty, and a great touch to a rocket salad. It wasn't slimy or fishy compared to a lot of other smoked salmons I've had from supermarkets.

Nothing exceptional
Honestly just tastes like your standard smoked salmon , absolutely nothing outstanding - was expecting much stronger tea flavours sadly and therefore find it overpriced.
