Seeded shortcrust pastry stuffed with leaf spinach, mature cheddar and sautéed onions in a creamy free range egg filling topped with crumbled feta and roasted red peppers

We take the art of pastry making very seriously at higgidy... but not as seriously as some! In 1838 the "Pastry War" *was an invasion of Mexico by France invoked by an aggrieved Pastry Chef, Monsieur Remontel. French forces withdrew only when the Mexicans agreed to pay compensation for Monsieur Remontel's damages pies!

Keep your quiche refrigerated. This quiche can be frozen. If freezing, freeze on day of purchase and consume within one month. Once thawed do not re-freeze.

Prepare & Use

Try it hot with a salad of roasted cherry tomatoes tossed in extra virgin olive oil, a splash of balsamic vinegar and a wodge of crusty bread.
Try it cold with buttery potatoes and crispy green leaf salad.

However, this quiche is made in a kitchen where we also make non-vegetarian pies and quiches
Cooking Instructions - From Chilled/Ambient
Preheat oven to 180°C, 350°F, Gas Mark 4. Remove all packaging. Place quiche on a baking tray on the middle shelf of your oven and cook for 25 minutes.

A hit

Packed with spinach, I worried this might look too virtuous but served cold with new potatoes and salad three teens loved it! A little extra feta would ake it even better. Will buy again
