Added Sugar, lots of water, E numbers & salt?
I'm sorry but since when did ham need sugar & colouring?! Disgusting. 85% meat, not 97% as stated in product description. So the rest is water and other rubbish. Much too much salt & fat as well. Not recommend and won't buy again.

Horrible watery ham - read some reviews for some types of this brand and thought I'd give it a go - never again.

Disappointing
I have tried Houghton Ham a few times now and this one is just as disappointing as the rest. It is just not lean and I certainly would not have picked it up in a supermarket. I shall definitely never try it again.
