Houghton Hams was formed in 1983 by Nigel and Jo Wagstaff and has traded uninterrupted as a family business with the objective of producing quality products. The family has always been passionate about supporting the local community and farmers in particular whilst curing and cooking a Northamptonshire ham.
The company has celebrated its 25th year with the opening of a new unit and refurbished existing premises. Houghton Hams are currently in the 8th year of their BRC Global Standard where they were accredited an A Grade.

Succulent and tasty
When you open the pack it smells of juicy ham how it should be, just as it had been carved. We love this ham.

Added Suger, lots of water & heaps of E-numbers
Since when does ham need added sugar?! And only 85% is meat - the rest is water and other stuff. Not cool. Way way too salty & fatty as well. Not recommended and won't buy again.

Used to be better
I have brought this ham a lot, over the last few months there has been more gristle and fat in each slice. noticeable by what has to be cut out. Would like to this be as it was
