Awful....its like working with an A4 paper

Wanted to give this one a try after reading all the good reviews on this page. This fillo pastry is absolutely awful. It feels like working with a piece of paper....and it tastes like that too. It is nothing natural about this one. I have seen my Greek mother make fillo pastry at home for years and the real fillo pastry looks nothing like this, trust me. I am definitely going back to Just Roll. So much closer to good, handmade fillo pastry!!

Brilliant filo

I like filo, but have found it hard to work with. This brand is so much easier and more forgiving than any others I've tried. Excellent texture too - beautifully crisp. Never without a pack in the fridge.

Don't buy any other brand

So much easier to use than frozen filo - there's no need to remember to take it out of the freezer hours before using it and it keeps for weeks in the fridge. It's forgiving to work with - just don't let it dry out - it tastes good and the texture, soft and comforting inside/crisp and crumbly outside, is great. As well as the obvious things I use it for lining flan cases, layered with melted butter, for light quiches and tarts.
