awful residue
Left a really thick residue on my hair and gave me the wet look! And incredibly messy! After second wash all the red/gold ran out and I just had dark brown left. The only good thing is it did cover the greys!

Used many different dyes over the years but this one is the best one I have ever used. Great even coverage and no greys,
Messy
I have coloured my hair 3 times now in lock down- I bought this because I thought it would be easier to use- not the case it was drippy and splashy, and I couldn’t do around my hairline without staining a cm or so of skin. Will go back to my usual hair dye or even fingers crossed get the hair dresser to do the next one.
Life saver
Had not coloured my own hair for over a decade and am glad to say DIY hair dye seems to have improved. After 7 weeks in lockdown it was time to take action and I was not disappointed. It was easy to apply and there were no overwhelming unpleasant chemical smells. As always it is a bit darker than the colour chart suggests but it will get lighter after a few washes. Very pleased with the result and will buy again if necessary but do miss the salon treatment.
Great hair dye
Have never had to dye my own hair! Was very impressed with this, easy to use but messy and permanently stains anything it comes into contact with. The colour was a little darker than shown but has lasted extremely well and has not faded. Would definitely recommend.
