Virtually no salt.
There are other low salt stocks on the market, but none have gone to the extreme low that Kallo have done. This is great news if you are also adding other ingredients that contain salt, such as curry powder, soy sauce, and sun dried tomatoes. With less salt, the shelf life is reduced, but not too much and it does mean the other ingredients in the stock will be fresher on average. The cubes take a little while to dissolve so there is still a gap in the market for powdered stock like OXO to compete, but otherwise Kallo low salt is my first choice.

Adds taste without saltiness
So many stock cubes just seem to make my cooking salty, that it is always a pleasure to use these. They make great rissotto stock.

Big difference from salted variety
Good if you need to reduce salt but they create a very different taste to traditional Kallo stock cubes.

No added sugar either!
This is one of the very few organic stock cubes that is very low in salt and has no added sugar. Unfortunately the chicken and beef versions do have sugar so I just use this one in all my cooking!

Suitable for babies from 12 months old. This lovely hearty soup is great for cold weather. You can use any kind of very small pasta. Cut toast fingers or bread fingers to serve it with. They are lovely to dunk into the soup and eat with your fingers. If you are making this for the whole family, increase the quantities 3 or 4 times (for a family of 4-5).
