why change it????
Used to love this butter - always had it since childhood now they have made it softer and its horrid! pale and more like spread - seems to taste different too. I thought my fridge door had been left open. Lost a lifelong customer

What have they done???
Grew up eating this butter. It has always been the best. But now they've done something revolting to it, to make it softer. WHY?? It is ruined. Yukky, sloppy texture, looks like butter that is on the verge of going off.

Love this butter
This, and Anchor, are the only brands of butter I buy as I detest the pale, unsalted butters which resemble lard and I don't like to use chemically enhanced low fat "low flavour!" spreads! Not sure what the other reviewers have been purchasing, but I always find this brand consistent with a deep yellow colour and creamy flavour.
