One of my favourites

This is by far one of my favourite perry ciders (losing out only to St Helier). If you like sweet ciders then you'll love this!

Really Unpleasant Chemical Taste

As per another reviewer, this is far too sweet, rather chemical in taste. Shame because I usually love perries.

Lovely summer drink

Please be aware this is just another opinion and not a result of extensive testing. It does not matter how strong opinion one has it is completely subjective with a little piece of truth in it. I think this pear cider is more than a very good effort and the price end of June is quite reasonable. Not too sweet not too acidic with harmoniuos pear flavour lingering for a short while. It matches a wide variety of light food if you like your drink to go with your meal.

Too too sweet

Pears drops, sugar, no depth. Tasted dreadful. Not the expected dryness. Really aimed at young drinkers. Poor effort.

A little piece of Sweden...

I grew up drinking non alcoholic cider as a child in Sweden and as an adult moved on to the alcoholic version (often Kopparbergs), so I have always loved it. Imagine my disappointment when I first tried cider in the UK, when I was used to the sweet Swedish ciders. After years of trying all varieties of British ciders (but finding they all smelled and tasted of manure), I had given up finding one I liked, until I found Kopparberg cider at Waitrose! I love the Kopparberg Pear cider and also the Apple cider (which for some reason Waitrose has stopped selling?!). Their Elderflower cider is quite ok, but the Mixed berry cider tastes a bit artificial, so not my cup of tea. If you like sweet drinks with bubbles, you'll love these ciders!
