a taste of home...
... for a yeast extract, it has to be vegemite. More solid than marmite gooey- yecch!. Just the thing for buttered toast, crumpets, cheese toasties... Hint If you didnt grow up with this stuff... you spread it very VERY thinly!!!!!

Marmite is better.
I had an old jar of Marmite, so I just did a side by side comparison. I completely disagree with the other reviewers-they are just as salty as each other. However, marmite has a "meatier" flavour, which I prefer. Also, Marmite is British, whereas Vegemite is made in Australia. Will stick to marmite in the future.
