Product Description
La Rectorie Ventoux 2011
A full flavoured yet soft, succulent wine.
This wine has been made by French wine maker Delphine Bistac in partnership with the Bottle Green international winemaking team.
We have sealed this wine with a screwcap to guarantee that the flavours captured in the vineyard are brought to you unspoilt.
The appellation Ventoux covers the vineyards on the southern banks of Mount Ventoux in the Rhone Valley, southern France. The grape varieties are similar to those used for Cotes du Rhone - a blend of Grenache and Shiraz.
Alc. 14.5% Vol.

Great Value
Really easy drinking, although fairly light its full of flavour. Its hard to believe you can get this for under ?5 a bottle. Really good Value.

Not as good as I hoped
Just opened this wine but was disappointed - its very light. Having said that I didnt realise it was less than 5 as we bought it a few weeks ago. Personally, I think well have to spend more than that to get a red that we like. Have now opened a Malbec blend instead but that was at least 8 I think..

Nice Wine
I wasn't expecting much from this wine, but it surpassed expectations and improved upon them. A nice mellow grenache-based blend for a very reasonable price. Would recommend.
Recipes
Coq Au Vin

Beware the product info.
Advertised as 2010 vintage at 13 per cent alc., actually 2011 at 14.5 per cent. Wouldn't have purchased had I known.
