Product Description

La Rectorie Ventoux 2012

A full flavoured yet soft, succulent wine.
This wine has been made by French wine maker Delphine Bistac in partnership with the Bottle Green international winemaking team.

We have sealed this wine with a screwcap to guarantee that the flavours captured in the vineyard are brought to you unspoilt.

The appellation Ventoux covers the vineyards on the southern banks of Mount Ventoux in the Rhone Valley, southern France. The grape varieties are similar to those used for Cotes du Rhone - a blend of Grenache and Shiraz.

Sorry, this wine was one of the worst wines I've ever tasted. Never again.

A good wine for a fiver

This is now just called Ventoux and is the 2012 and back down to 13.5%. It's a decent wine to accompany pasta dishes and not overpowering.

Excellent wine at this price point

Very tasty, aromatic and rich for a wine under six quid. My star review reflects value for money, as there are certainly superior wines to be had, but generally not at this price.

Beware the product info.

Advertised as 2010 vintage at 13 per cent alc., actually 2011 at 14.5 per cent. Wouldn't have purchased had I known.
