Product Description
Recolte Red Wine 2011
The Perrin family, owners of the famous Chateau de Beaucastel are the producers of this beautiful red wine. The vines from this appellation are planned on the hills of the renowned Mont Ventoux and benefit from great sunlight and fairly cool temperatures for the Southern Rhone Valley.
The blend is generally made from Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre and the wines are cherry red in colour and have a a rich nose of spices and ripe fruit. The mouth is powerful and balanced with notes of cherry, blackberry and spices. The altitude of the vines gives great elegance to this wine.
Alc. 13.5% Vol.

A solid Medium Red
Deep cherry red in colour. Smooth, slightly Oaky and gentle spices. Would make an inexpensive bottle to take to enjoy at a party.

Fetching and Tasty
First, this bottle of wine looks quite fetching with it's French country graphics. Second, it's a good medium bodied red. Third, I'd have thought this goes for between £8 - £10, so a good value to boot.

Good everyday wine
This wine is quite delicious; tastes like something much form expensive.

Not impressed
Smells of cherry and iodine, which I don't find attractive. Light body, red fruit flavours, too much acid, not good length.
