*We make every effort possible to ensure that Lactofree dairy drink contains no lactose. We carry out rigorous scientific testing using the most accurate UKAS-accredited tests available which enable us to detect lactose at the trace level of 0.03%. At this detection level our tests show that there is no lactose present in Lactofree.

Trouble digesting milk?

If drinking cows' milk causes you symptoms such as nausea, stomach cramps, bloating, gas and diarrhoea, this may be caused by the lactose in milk and could mean that you are lactose intolerant.

How can lactofree help?

Lactofree is made from cows' milk, with the lactose removed. So if you're lactose intolerant, you no longer have to miss out. Lactofree gives you the nutritional goodness and taste of regular cows' milk, just without the lactose.

What is lactose intolerance?

Lactose intolerance is the inability to digest lactose - the sugar found naturally in cows' milk.

Good alternative to the alternatives...

I've developed lactose intolerance over the past couple of years and have reached the point where even a splash of normal cow's milk in my tea is an impossibility. I was despairing, because my morning cuppa is just not the same with soya or oat or rice milk, and despite being told repeatedly that my tastes "would adapt" they haven't. ...so, HOORAY for Lactofree which tastes miles better than the alternatives. I didn't give it the full five stars, as it does have a uht/processed taste that "real milk" doesn't, but it makes it possible for those with lactose intolerance to have a proper cup of tea in the morning, which is worth at least four stars. It has a good long shelf life too.

Excellent

Excellent alternative to regular milk, not as sweet as regular milk. For those who can't do without diary but can't digest lactose. Good packaging too.
