Keep refrigerated below 5ºC. For use by date see front of pack Suitable for home freezing on day of purchase in a four star food freezer or three star frozen food compartment, which should be -18°C or colder. Use within one month. Defrost fully in a refrigerator before use: do not refreeze once defrosted.
Prepare & Use
Oven (adjust for fan assisted ovens). Remove sleeve. Do not remove or pierce film lid. Place on a baking tray in the centre of a preheated oven at 180°C, gas mark 4 for 30 minutes, or until piping hot.
Microwave. For ovens carrying this symbol, use column 1: for all other ovens, use column 2. When using ovens with a different heating category or wattage from those indicated, adjust cooking time according to manufacturer’s handbook. Remove sleeve and pierce film lid in several places. Column 1 heating category B cook on full power for 31/2 mins, remove film lid, stir and re-cover. Cook on full power for 3 mins.Column 1 heating category D cook on full power for 3 mins, remove film lid, stir and re-cover. Cook on full power for 2 mins. Column 2, power rating 650W, cook on full power for 31/2 mins, remove film lid, stir and re-cover. Cook on full power for 3 mins. Allow to stand for 2 minutes. Check that the food is piping hot throughout. If not, heat for a further brief period. Stir before serving. Do not reheat once cooled

great value for money
nearly didnt order this after reading the previous reviews, but went ahead as it was in the meal deal. both me and husband very pleased with it. plenty of lamb - all tender - no gristle, good consistency. sauce tasty and quite spicy - left our mouths tingly. overall would def recommend and can only presume that the recipe issues have been resolved since earlier in the year.

They've changed the recipe and it now has a most unpleasant taste.

A Lot of Gristle!
We agree with several other recent reviews about the poor quality of the meat, very surprising in a Waitrose product, and will not be ordering this again.

Meat not tender
I liked the flavour and texture of the sauce but the meat made it quite unpleasant to eat. It either hadn't been cooked for long enough or it is gristly - I couldn't decide which it was but I won't but the curry again.

Not the best!
Supposed to be a 'two chilli' heat rating but was soooo hot my friend and I couldnt eat it even with yogurt. Not sure if it was a randomly extremely hot one or its always like that but I wouldn't risk buying it again!!
