Keep refrigerated below 5ºC. For use by date see front of pack. Once opened consume within 2 days. Do not exceed use by date. Keep covered. Store at bottom of refrigerator. Suitable for freezing on day of purchase. Use within one month. Defrost fully before use: do not refreeze once defrosted.

Prepare & Use

Preparation: Wash hands, all surfaces and utensils after touching raw meat. Grill 10-12 mins. Preheat grill. Remove all packaging. Place under a medium grill and turn frequently. Cook thoroughly until piping hot, there is no pink meat and juices run clear. Oven cook. Electric, 190ºC, 15-25 mins. Fan, 170ºC, 15-25 mins. Gas 5, 15-25 mins. Preheat oven. Remove all packaging. Place on a baking tray in centre of oven. Cook thoroughly until piping hot, there is no pink meat and juices run clear. Barbeque. Take extra care when barbecuing. If possible cook first and barbecue to finish. Cook thoroughly until piping hot, there is no pink meat and juices run clear.
Serving suggestion: Serve with warm flatbreads, fresh Tzatziki and wedges of fresh lemon.

Not as good as Tesco...

Fondly remembering having Tesco lamb kebabs several years ago, we though we might try to give these a go as Waitrose products are almost always superior in quality and flavour. Sadly, these were a major disappointment. Not only did multiple kebabs contain gristle, but we even found shards of bone in some. The flavour of the kebabs was below-average, though they were saved by a mint/yogurt accompaniment that we created. Look elsewhere for lamb kebabs.

bad

Firstly, these aren't shish, they're kofte - you'd think someone in the vast marketing department would realise this. Secondly, mushy and full of gristle. Lastly, the only saving grace is the flavour is quite nice. Other than that, terrible.

Nice taste, weak texture

Tasted very nice and good quality meat for the price but would agree with the other comments that the meat falls off the skewer while it is cooking.

Barbeque disaster

These may be quite tasty, but they are not dense enough and, having forgotten that this happened last year, I put them on the barbeque and watched them disintegrate. The meat came away from the skewer and fell apart. What a shame.
