Keep refrigerated below 4°C. Once opened consume within 2 days. Cool any leftovers to room temperature, refrigerate within 2 hours and consume within 2 days. Suitable for freezing on day of purchase. Use within one month. Defrost fully before use: do not refreeze once defrosted.
Prepare & Use
Wash hands, all surfaces and utensils after touching raw poultry
Oven cook
Electric- 200°C-45 mins/kg + 20 mins
Fan-180°C-45 mins/kg + 20 mins
Gas 6-45 mins/kg + 20 mins
Preheat oven. Remove all packaging. Place in a roasting dish, brush with oil and place in an oven until thoroughly cooked, the juices run clear and there is no pink meat. If the breast browns too quickly cover with foil. Stand for 10 minutes before carving.

Never again
This was bought for me by mistake, and what a mistake. Tough, bland and full of water. Not sure why non free range are actually allowed to be sold still but this had all the characteristics of a bird who neither ingested nor experienced anything that made it happy.

Can not fault this chicken!
Always good, always reliable. Succulent and juicy with a lovely flavour. Left plain with just a bit of butter, oil, salt & pepper will make a fantastic roast chicken! to a full on seasoned spatchcock massaged with thyme, rosemary, garlic, lemon juice, butter, oil, salt & pepper makes. Delicious!!

For a clear stock, make sure you remove any fat from the chicken before boiling, or it will turn cloudy. For a dark, golden stock, leave the onion unpeeled.

Good taste but small
Lovely tasty bird but under sized at 1.93Kg. Had to cook a couple of chicken pieces to make sure everyone got a good portion.
