Our bagged salad is washed using warm then cold water which slows down the browning and pinking of the cut surfaces once the bag has been opened. It also keeps the leaves fresher for longer before the bag is opened.

Excellent freshness
We loved the mix because of the various ingredients and loved the long lasting freshness even more! Much better than all other brands / supermarket own label, that's for sure!

in comparison with other supermarkets this is good
Yes there are large pieces of red cabbage but it lasted much longer than other supermarket salad bags of similar content so this is my store choice for this product now. I didn't find it soggy but I had opened the bag after a couple of days

Always buy this and had always seemed to last a long while. We then had a batch with the soggy problem which went nasty before the sell by date but had never happened before or since and we buy at least 2-3 packs per week and have done so for over a year. My family love the crunchy carrot , iceberg and big bits of red cabbage - certainly not delicate leaves.

Mostly carrot and cabbage!!
I bought this as it was on special offer, and called "Lasting Leaf". Silly me, I thought it was salad leaves!! Mostly consisting of grated carrot, big chunks of red cabbage and the stems of iceburg lettuce, we found it too heavy. Not nice, and not what you'd expect from the packaging and product description. If I want grated carrot, I grate carrots...simple!! So, don't buy if you're expecting a bag of lettuce!
