Product Description
Organic pork belly rasher
Our tender, rich organic Pork Belly is bursting full of flavour; our rashers are akin to a spare rib chop and are at their best marinated and slow roasted, delicious!
Our great tasting pork is a result of our thorough farming methods which for our pigs means they are born and bred outdoors in straw-bedded arks, grow at their natural pace allowing them to exercise and feed off the farms rich pastures with a natural intake of protein and minerals – all adding up to a superior tasting meat.

Useful in Japanese recipes
I found this delicious and perfect to be used in Japanese Yakiniku by slicing them to be marinated in soysauce, sugar, grated ginger and little sesame seed oil with chopped spring onions and cook by it self or with pointed cabbage. Delicious. I will try with different Japanese recipes.

Matt Tomkinson's Cod with Pork Belly
Unctuous cod is offered a sharp counterpoint by salty pork belly in this Matt Tomkinson dish. The inclusion of broccoli adds a summery touch to this otherwise brumal dish.

Where's the fat?
Let's be clear, the only reason to buy pork belly is to get the delicious fat, crisp it up on the outside then slow cook it and you get silky soft fat inside a crunchy outer. This used to be good, but the last five or six times I've bought it there has been next to no fat on it! I've now given up and found a proper source of organic pork belly which comes with a massively thick layer of fat.
