This fits an unopened 1.5kg bag of marriages flour
This is exactly what I hoped it would be. It fits an unopened 1.5kg bag of marriages bread flour. It's tight but didn't take any force other than gravity to get it in and did not compromise the integrity of the bag in the process. Have ordered another one.
Does NOT fit a 1.5kg bag of flour.
Despite the other review, a bag of bread flour doesnt fit in this container. The most youll get in is 1kg.
More versatile than 1.3L version
Would be perfect if it was even just 3mm taller. As it is I can fit a full 1.5kg bag of flour into 1.8L container, but it does take a bit of persuasion i.e. pressing and patting down the top of the bag and then pushing down on the lid. This size does take a 500g bag of fusilli pasta which doesn't quite fit into the 1.3L version.

Not the best design for packages in average size.

What may be said about the wonderful Lock and Lock range that hasn't already been said? Every piece throughout the entire range is superb and of unsurpassed quality. This 1.8 litre container is a perfect fit for a packet of RYVITA. It keeps it perfectly fresh and crisp to the last slice.
