Season with salt and pepper.
Heat 1 tablespoon (15ml) of oil in a frying pan over a high heat.
Cook over high heat turning frequently.
The scallops will be golden and caramelised on the outside and juicy in the centre when cooked.

Not British but good.
With many "scallops" imported from all over the world it's nice to see and taste the Atlantic shellfish. Not top size but acceptable and sweet and best of all, not coated with the shrimpy glaze that some products are polluted with.. I'd buy these again.

Really good
I cooked these with a brown butter and Granny Smith sauce, recipe found online, and they were truly lovely. Large, very fresh, and very delicious.
