Decidedly average
I'm not sure what ice cream the people who rated this 4 and 5 stars tasted but I want that one, because this one isn't up to much. It's not bad, it tastes fine, just not the natural, organic tasting vanilla ice cream you might expect.

Below average
I would buy Green & Black's organic vanilla in preference to this or even Kelly's of Cornwall clotted cream ice cream. Not particularly creamy, I've had better .

This is organic?
Not good at all. Would prefer Walls! Not creamy at all. Tastes like dairy-flavoured ice cream, and not the real thing at all. Not sure what the other reviewers were tasting...

Best of the best
This is truly a superb ice cream. My father used to make the best ice cream in Britain seriously!, and I always joke that whereas i'll drink any wine I won't eat any ice cream...... and I ALWAYS buy this.. you will not be disappointed. Great with Maple syrup.....

Slightly fluffy and watery, not too sweet
I imagine it could benefit from slightly more vanilla beans, but well, I like it. Not as sweet as Haagen Dazs, less creamy than Green and Black's. Not to everyone's taste, I imagine, but its perfect to me. Seems lighter than other ice cream, and it doesn't poison with sugar.
