This Smoked Pork Sausage will happily live in your fridge or cupboard until the best before date. Once opened, keep it in the fridge below 5°C. Eat within 3 days and not later than the date on the pack.
Suitable for Home Freezing.
Freeze the day you buy it but don't forget about it as it should be eaten within one month. defrost thoroughly before eating. If there's any left after your first sitting, put in the fridge and eat within 2 days.
Air holes in the foil bag are for the comfort of the sausage (do not taunt or feed) and won't reduce its quality.
Prepare & Use
The sausage is cooked and is ready to eat.
To serve hot: Take out of foil bag but keep in clear wrapper. Pierce several times then microwave on full power for 1 minute (850W)

Not a high quality sausage
Highly-flavoured, a bit processed tasting, it would hold its own in a spicy tomato pasta dish.

Excellent in pasta
Everyone in our family loves this! Try sliced up in pasta sauce. Yummy! Its great as it is fairly long lifed so you can keep it for emergencies! Cheap too!

Useful tasty staple
In a household with two small children and lots of visiting little friends I can't live without this stuff. I'm sure it's not the high quality unprocessed meat we're supposed to feed our children but chopped and fried and added to pasta, soups, casseroles or just eaten with scrambled egg or beans on toast, this is an absolute lifesaver and keeps for a while in the fridge. Always have one on standby to make a meal when you have no idea what else to cook, it's very tasty. It also has a role in some more gourmet dishes like Nigel Slater's sweetcorn and smoked sausage chowder, or my mum's brilliant pork and smoked sausage casserole. My only problem with it is that I usually need more than I think because half of it gets eaten - by me - while frying in the pan!
