Oh no they've changed the recipe!

These have been my favourites for years but the last batch were much softer to chew so get caked round your teeth and don't taste so good either anymore. But still a good sweetie to have!

DO NOT BUY THESE!

These are AWFUL! Rock hard, can't chew them up- they just spring back again. Really chemical, strangely solvent taste. They have gone in the bin.

Not as good as original Lyons Midget Gems

I always loved Midget Gems, Sports Mixtures and Fruit Salad sweets but these Maynards ones are not a patch on the proper "Lyons Midget Gems" You can still buy the real ones at some markets and its worth seeking them out. I don't think these have much taste at all.
