On the front of our packs, we now show the amount of fat, saturated fat, sugar and salt in our products and have colour coded it to help you choose a healthier diet. Green indicates a low content, amber a medium content and red a high content, as defined by the Food Standards agency. We also show the percentage a serving contributes to an adult's Guideline daily Amount (GDA).

Prepare & Use
Cooking guidelines
Mmm.. chips. The following cooking instructions are for 350g of McCain Crispy French Fries. For smaller quantities reduce the cooking time accordingly.
For best results cook from frozen. Do not overcook.
Oven
Preheat the oven to 240°C / 475°F / Gas Mark 9. For fan assisted ovens that's 220°C / 425°F.
Spread your Crispy French Fries in a single layer onto a baking tray and pop it into the top of the oven. Bake for 14-16 minutes, turning them every now and then, until they're lovely, crisp and golden.
Grill
Remove the rack from the grill pan. Preheat your grill for 5 minutes at a medium high setting. Spread your Crispy French Fries onto the pan in a single layer. Grill for 8-10 minutes , turning them every now and then, until they're crisp and golden.

Very nice for frozen fries, they go in seconds on the table.

Most like shop bought chips
These taste and cook up like 'real' chips. I find many oven chips taste as if they are made of powdered potato and are no treat at all. These never fail to be crispy outside and tasty within. However, my husband disagrees that they are the best as he likes BIG trad chips!

very very oily
.. maybe I've just had a bad batch but these were the worst oven chips I've bought. They were oozing with oil. In fact the rest are going in the bin!

it's paprika and turmeric chips
It's full of fat, and additive. Those chips are covered with a layer of fat and additive. I won't buy it again. Not healthy at all !!!!!
