This must be a new supplier

Waitrose seem to be switching suppliers at the moment as a few favourites seem to have changed overnight to mediocre products I wouldn't buy again - this is one of them. Its smaller in size and much less creamy sauce, fake garlic taste and nothing like real dauphinoise. I wish Waitrose would let consumers know when they change suppliers as favourite lists cant be trusted. The only clue is new packaging..

Potato Needs cooking in the Oven on a High heat

Lovely needs a bit more Grated cheese and cream add some white wine and put over a raw herbed salmon steak you wont be sorry! 45 mins in a covered casserole dish then take lid off if you want browning...more cheese ontop.

Raw

I, like another reviewer cooked the dish for longer than the recommended time, but it was still close to raw, which on this occasion spoilt the rest of the meal.

Raw potato

I enjoy Waitrose foods but this bears scant resemblance to Dauphinoise. I heat for twice the stated time and the potatoes are hard and taste as if they haven't been cooked.
