Product Description
For eleven generations, the Girardin family have owned vineyards and made wine in Meursault and the surrounding villages in the heart of the Cote D'Or region of Burgundy. This classic white Burgundy is made from old, low yielding Chardonnay vines. Harvested at optimum maturity, the grapes are fermented and aged in small French oak barrels for 12 month to give a rich, honeyed, complex wine with an intense, fruit flavour and long, clean finish.
13.5% Alc. Vol.

Just mediocre for the price and the region
Oaky, buttery, good feeling wine, however, I don't think it is worth the 28.gbp price. 18 would be a better value for the quality. Good not great.

Exceptional wine
An exceptional wine, bold in flavour. An absolute hit. Great for dinner parties and for general consumption. I can thoroughly recommend this wine.

Over-priced
I'm with Chopper119 on this. This is a perfectly decent white Burgundy, with the classic oatmeal aroma, honeyed taste and buttery texture, but in no way is it worth nearly 30 pounds a bottle.
