The first Pinot Noir grapes were planted in Marlborough at the Brancott Vineyard.
This represents the finest Pinot Noir from Marlborough under the Brancott Estate label. The wine is handmade, reflecting the concerted effort in both the vineyard and winery.
This Terraces Pinot Noir delivers an intense concentration of flavours with complexity and a harmonious balance between the richness of the dark berry fruits and black plum aromas overlying complex, spicy oak highlights and silky tannins.

not bad
but that's not enough for the price

Disappointing
2010 - thin, sour and harsh, even after decanting and allowing it to breath for a couple of hours. Much nicer and cheaper Pinots available on Ocado, e.g. Valdiviso, Giesen Estate

Best Pinot I have ever had..
.. so far! I first tried this in Australia. Much more to it than a regular Pinot. Try it!

Elegant
Lovely pinot noir rivaling Burgundy with a complex dry strawberries, vanilla and rich fruit undercarriage. This is a wine to serve with the best food. Roast duck or goose are ideal, or make a special cog au vin with it then serve another bottle to wash it down. Highly recommended.
