Squashed+and+not+that+great+anyway

As+with+most+other+reviewers+this+cake+arrived+completely+destroyed+on+one+side.++It+looked+an+utter+mess,+thankfully+it+was+just+for+us+so+didnt+have+to+look+good,+but+had+I+bought+it+for+guests+I+couldnt+have+used+it. I+have+certainly+had+nicer+chocolate+cakes.++The+sponge+was+relatively+moist+but+very+crumbly+and+teh+frosting+was+far+to+dry+and+sweet.++I+think+the+reason+it+all+came+off+on+the+squashed+lid+was+because+it+was+so+dry.

squashed!

I ordered this with trepidation as I had seen so many reviewers complain that it arrived squashed. Surely Ocado would read the reviews and do something about it? But no...mine arrived underneath a bottle of bleach and some potatoes and...youve guessed it...squashed!

Mine arrived unsquashed! Jealous?

Hands-down the best cake I've ever had from a supermarket. Soft, moist and very very chocolatey. Lasted well in the cupboard too.

Tasty, Squashed, and excellent customer service!

Despite the negative reviews I thought I would give this Cake a try, unfortunately when it turned up it was upside down and squashed but it was very very tasty! Moist, and chocolately with a lovely amount of frosting. I took a couple of photo's of the cake before I opened it and e-mailed them over to Ocado this morning at 8-36am, and by 10.25 I had received and e-mail not only confirming that I had been refunded, but that they had passed this on to the Warehouse where the "picker" would receive some additional cake packing training. Once again, exceptional service from Ocado! I will be ordering this cake again in a couple of weeks to see how it arrives...

Badly squashed cake

I bought this for my son's birthday based on the reviews that it tasted great but hoping lessons would have been learnt about the poor delivery. How dissappointed am I. It was delivered upside down in the bag and completely ruined!! Tasting good is rather an irrelevance if you can't serve it as it looks such a mess. Would definately not recommend as I have to now go out and purchase another cake.
