Sumptuous shortcake swirls, with a fruity raspberry jam and smooth buttercream centre. Made to melt in the mouth.
One rainy day I said to my friends that perhaps I should do something different. They thought I'd lost my marbles. "Mr Kipling not making cakes" was unthinkable to them.
How reassured they were when they tasted my Viennese Whirls. Rich shortcake fancies with a swirly buttercream and raspberry filling. No ordinary cake they agreed. I'm sure you'll agree they are exceedingly good cakes.

Kipling standard...

lovely soft shortbread and nice jam, cream is possibly too sweet for me and they are quite small - but well presented all the same!
