Product Description

Traditionally matured Rioja wine of immense pedigree & breed.

This wine was made using the following grape varieties: 70% Tempranillo, 20% Garnacha and 10% between Mazuelo and Graciano. It was fermented in 16.000- litre oak vats. After 6 months in oak vats, the wine has been aged for 30 months in new and second-year oak casks. This fine Reserva is the fruit of the careful selection of some of the best of its vintage produced and aged in our cellar.

Touch of coconut

Tasting 2006. Nose of damsons with lots of oak. Buttery smooth on palate, strawberry, touch of coconut, more oak. Tannins still pretty lively. Drink 2015-2020. Good, but better Riojas are available at this price point.

Perfect Rioja

This is my partners fave. Rich, fool flavoured, velvety. I repurchase regularly.

Fantastic wine

Rioja raised to all its splendour. We were lucky enough to order six bottles under promotion, £14 instead of £22, which makes it an even better value for money. But even at £22 it is completely worth.

Something special

I bought a bottle to celebrate a) the new store opening and b) payday. Was not disappointed with the enveloping hit that only the smoothest of smooth Riojas can bring.
