Not a fan of this one

I am a big fan of some of the nakd bars, but not this one. It has two ingredients dates and crushed cashew nuts and that is how it tastes of pureed dates and a weeny bit of cashews, but more of pureed dates. Dates are used as a base for many -all?- of nakd bars, but it works as a concept for many, but not this one.

Beware of the date stones

I've had two of these Nakd bars now and both times I bit down on something that was so hard, it really hurt my teeth. As the only other ingredient is cashews, I can only assume that I am biting down on small pieces of date stone. The bars themselves are quite pleasant to begin with, but are ultimately too sweet for my tastes and I struggle to finish a whole one. However, it's the pieces of stone that will stop me from buying these again.

AWFUL!

One of the most atrocious disgusting things I've ever tasted - a cross between wet cement and a paste of some description, NEVER again.

Delicious and nutritious!

These are really lovely - sweet, with a very satisfying 'mouth feel' and enough substance to feel like a treat. My kids happily eat these where they might be asking for a chocolate or cereal bar otherwise and I'm a fan too!
