"The incredible Camone tomato is exclusively grown in Sardegna where the naturally salty soil imparts a wonderful flavour. Unlike most tomatoes, these thrive in the colder months when the sun is still plentiful but less harsh.

With its tinges of green flesh, the Camone is a very good looking tomato. It might appear to be unripe but herein lies the key to its beautiful flavour and texture. With it's thick skin which is crunchy, crisp and with a lovely saltiness, it is simply brilliant dressed with quality olive oil and sprinkled with sea salt and oregano. "

Great taste

These are good! Slightly crunchy compared to your standard tomato - but a great tomato flavour that can make you enjoy eating tomatoes again! Once you've had these you won't go back!

I am addicted!

We grow our own tomatoes through summer as I have never found the same flavour from store bought tomatoes. These, however, taste like they have come straight from the garden! Visually attractive with an incredible taste. They have got us through winter, and probably this coming summer too, I am tempted to stay out of the greenhouse this year!

Best Tomatoes ever!

Best tomatoes i have ever tried! Sweet with hard skin , perfectly mixed with fresh garlic , sea salt and creme fraiche!Will buy them again and again!

Disappointing

I bought these on the strength of other reviews so I was disappointed when these arrived and they were flavourless and tough, almost as if they weren't ripe - yet I tried to eat them on the day before their sell by date. I ended up throwing them away, which at the price I paid is not something I want to risk having to do again.
