Lucky maybe?
Not sure if I was lucky compared to other reviews, but nat at all woody or stringy……only had to chop the very ends of the stalk.. I steamed in the microwave and they were delicious! Bought in the flash sale. Unfortunately I can't justify buying at the original price but will definitely get again if on offer.
Too Woody!
This arrived in a bit of a sorry state, quite dirty and some stems broken. After cleaning I roasted it in the oven with olive oil and salt. The tips were delicious but had to throw the rest away. Impossible to cut the stems with a sharp knife despite cutting a good bit off before cooking. Woody stalls were completely inedible.
Thin .... painfully
These were really long and thin.... not like the photograph chunky... will have to chop up
Squashed
I ordered 2 packs. Both packs arrived squashed as packed with heavy items on top! Salvaged what I could. Woody, not worth the price.
Woody
Half of the pack was inedible. There were also quite a few broken pieces when arrived.
Quite thin and a bit woody
I'm afraid the asparagus I received didn't really look like the lovely plump stalks in the photograph. Mine were thin, a little bitter and very woody. Thank goodness I had also bought a couple of bunches of British green asparagus which was beautiful. I do really like Natoora products usually however.
