Product information
Natoora Italian Radichio di Chioggia
- Radicchio di Chioggia, grown by Massimo in Veneto
- Massimo saves his own seed, honing in on the characteristics he values most; tightly wrapped, deep purple leaves that retain all their wonderful bitterness, even when cooked.
- Growing outdoors, Massimo plants sequentially, carefully selecting varieties that thrive at different points throughout the season.
Take it further
- Pairs well with smoky, sweet and bold flavours.
- Incredibly versatile, Chioggia is great eaten raw in salads, braised or added to risottos.
Natoora's radical approach to seasonal sourcing is shaping the future of food
- We are revolutionising the food system.
- We work direct with growers who value flavour, biodiversity and heritage over yield.
- We give them the support they need to build a better future for food, rooted in small scale, sustainable agriculture that gives back to our planet.

Delicious
Delicious salad simply dressed with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar & few scattered segments of tangerine or clementine! Pity its so expensive otherwise would buy weekly!
Small and dried out?
Only small and feels very light and dry. I've had these in the past and they've been much larger, crisp and fresh. This only has 3 days shelf life but it seems very much past it's best already
Tiny!
This is so small. Once the core is removed there is hardly anything left to eat.
Tiny and not worth the money
Very disappointed by my purchase today. The radicchio is tiny and not worth the money. I bought it to make my salad greens more interesting. I have asked for a refund.
dry, wilted, and size or an orange
The radicchio I received was dry, wilted, with brown spots and the size of a medium orange. It largely went in the bin. How natoora are still going it beyond me. The produce is largely hugely overpriced and very poor quality.
Dinky
The produce I received looked nothing like the photo. A fraction of the size and wilted. Expected better for nearly £4.
